In this hands-on workshop you bring your camera and hotshoe flash and learn the mechanics of mixing flash with ambient light to act as a fill light.  We'll cover exposure blending, as well as flash exposure compensation to make your fill flash not look like fill flash.  We'll also explore how to make your flash be the dominant light source in shade conditions.  You'll need a small prop with you for your subject in addition to your camera and flash.  Being able to take your flash off camera with a cable or wireless will be advantageous but not required.
