First off, thanks to Douglas Scott for his submission for Repeating Patterns called Brick Wall that starts this message.
Our meeting this month is on April 28th starting at 6:30pm. We will be kicking off with a presentation called Choosing Your Next Lens. Then we will move through the Photo Review and time permitting go through a short tutorial called the colour of light to help folks get a quick grasp on White Balance.
We've received some solid entries for Repeating Patterns our Core Concepts challenge for April. Our Creative challenge of Loud As A Whisper could use some more entries. You have until next Sunday evening to get your entries in, and please be sure to let me know if you are open to the critique offering.
Our workshop calendar for spring and summer is now locked and there is still space for every workshop.

If you are interested in a Henry's class on studio flash, I am teaching one at Henry's Newmarket on April 26th. I believe that there are still spots available, call your local Henry's to book attendance.
Bryan has a Daytripper event and will not be at the meeting this month. If you are into birds of prey, be sure to reach out to him because I believe he has a Birds of Prey event on May 3rd.
I would also remind you of the big Henry's / Nikon event at the ROM the last weekend in May featuring a variety of presenting photographers including wildlife and aviation guru Moose Peterson. Again, chat with your Henry's store for more information.
Lastly, my favourite educator in lighting is coming to Toronto on July 17th at the Metro Convention Centre. This will be the only chance to see the incredible Joe McNally live and in person in our area this year. Tickets are $89 and can be ordered online at the Kelbyone website. I'm going, Bryan said he's going, so perhaps there will be a group of NCC members on the Go Train heading downtown for this event.
Until next time, peace.
